Senior Show 2010!

Thanks to everyone that came and saw my work I greatly appreciate everyone that has been there for me along the way! It was tough but it is over. If you didn't get to see it the show is up until June 4th 2010!

March17th Workshop 12:00pm-1:30pm

I. Quick overview on how to make pulp (if there are new people)
a. Abaca pulp demo
b. How to make a vat
II. Overview How to pull a Sheet
a. Pull
b. Couch
c. Glass dry
III. Add Inclusions
a. Go outside and find some nice inclusions for your paper.
IV. Add Pigments
a. Choose a color
b. Go over how to mix the retention aid.
c. Start adding it to the pulp and pigment mixture.
i. See how the water becomes more and more clear and the pulp
is holding more pigment.
V. Demo with the Japanese screen
a. Anyone who is interested to try it has to take turns.

On March 17th 2010 I will teaching a workshop come and Join on Ohio Dominican University campus Wehrle Hall and discover the art of making beautiful handmade paper!
